Lovely weekend in Cheung Chau

Cheung Chau, a dumbbell-shaped island, which have became the one of the must go place in Hong Kong in the decade years. It is famous of beaches like Tung Wan Beach; foods such as ‘Big fish ball’, seafood, traditional pastries ‘guo’   (粿) or ‘tornado potato’. Cheung Chau also has a long history that attract tourists to go there. In 19th-century, a cave in Cheung Chau was a hiding place of a pirate called Cheung Po Tsai, this historical story makes people want to find out the background of a pirate.

This little island can attracted visitors from the nearest citizens in Hong Kong to the furthest tourists from all over the world. So that’s why I have also fascinated by this beautiful island.
A huge crowd of people in Cheung Chau
Last Sunday, I had gone to Cheung Chau with my friends. I’m very thankful for the good weather, it was a sunny day with some gentle wind. We reached Cheung Chau at about 12:30pm and we were so hungry that we were searching for a restaurant. We ate lunches that could fulfil our stomachs and keep moving on.
BIG FISH BALL :P YUM YUM

Although we had had our lunch, we still couldn’t tolerate the smell of the famous snacks of Cheung Chau. So we went to a delicatessen that sells famous ‘Big fish ball’ and other tasty snacks. The ‘BIG FISH BALL’ was the double size of a normal fish ball, it is delicious and the fish ball was al dente that made me lingering after-taste.

We had eaten lots of yummy stalls’ foods before going the next station, a beach where is full of sunshine - Tung Wan Beach. The beach was full of people who were enjoying their sunbaths, playing sands and swimming.

While people were enjoying their time, one of my friends and I went along the road beside the beach and found another beach called Kwun Yam Beach. We have a little rest sitting on the sand and turn towards to the mountain of Cheung Chau. Both of us wish to go hiking, and this time we might satisfied our wishes. We walked for about 30 minute and turned back to our friends.

We bought some souvenirs for us and our families and we left Cheung Chau at a peaceful time that sun was gradually disappeared. We had a cheerful and delighted day in Cheung Chau, and our weight might increased as we ate lots of snacks from those snacks stalls, but I so sure that I would properly eat these tasty foods though my weight will increase.

A chemical product in daily lives - Toothpaste

In our daily lives, we always use many products made from chemicals such as hand cream, cleaning products, shampoo, plastic items etc. Toothpastes, which we often use in brushing teeth in the morning and the night, are also made by chemicals.

All Smile :)

The early toothpastes are made of crushed bones and oyster shells by the Greeks. These toothpastes keep the teeth clean when rubbing off the bacteria of the teeth. Nowadays toothpastes are shaped like gel, it is one of the most important daily supplies, keeping our teeth in a healthy, good-looking condition. Though we always use toothpaste in our daily lives, do we even know the secret of the toothpaste? Thus we should find out the hidden knowledge of toothpaste.
The early toothpaste recipe

The secret message is hiding on the bottom of the toothpaste. We often see a colour code on the toothpaste but we do not understand what is the hidden message that the company wanted to bring out. Those colour codes can display whether the toothpaste is made of chemical or natural. Green code means the toothpaste is made of natural ingredients, red is made of natural and chemical ingredients, blue is made of natural with medical care, and finally using pure chemical ingredients is the colour of black. So you should notice the colour code of your toothpaste after you have read this passage.

Toothpaste not only helps to keep our teeth healthy, shine and bright, but also has many purposes instead of maintain the health of the teeth. Toothpaste can act as jewellery cleaner. If your slivery jewellery is covered by a rust layer, using toothpaste can get rid of the rust-looking layer as rust layer will react with toothpaste and the jewellery will sparkle again.

Another usage of toothpaste is to prevent fogging on the surface of the swimming goggles. Swimming goggles usually fogged while we are swimming as the humidity and temperature of swimmers are high. Although some products are claimed that they can defogged from swimming goggles, it is too expensive to purchase these defogger gel. Toothpastes are common and they are similar to defogger gel, we can use toothpastes to replace those costly defogger gels.

Toothpaste is a wonderful invention with a load of benefits, I am thankful to the inventor and those improvers who put lots of time on toothpaste. Inventing things are complicated, time-consuming and costly, but items that have invented may help our life become more comfortable and convenient, so we should respected them.

My favourite dogs🐾

‘A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.’ ‘A dog is man’s best friend.’ These quotes supported that dogs are honest and loyal to its owner. Human loves dogs and so do I. Here are some kinds of dogs that people think they are adorable, such as Golden Retriever, Schnauzer, Poodle etc. And Shiba Inu is one of my favourite dog.

Every time when I finished my tutorial in school, a dog of Shiba Inu sitting on a bench nearby my school with its owner. When I first met the cute Shiba Inu, its fox-like face and its creamy duff fur captured my attention, he then gave me a lovely smile. Its sweet smile makes me cannot rip the scene off.

Since I met this lovely dog, I have a strong desired to pat the dog as he looked soft. I did not have the courage to pet the dog until the last day of the tutorial, also the last day of meeting the dog. I asked the owner of the dog bravery and gently patted him. His fur isn’t so soft as I thought but his coat is very beautiful.

Shiba Inu is originate in Japan, which have red, sesame, black and tan in colour. Usually shiba inu is in red colour with a curled tail. Shiba Inu have the characteristic of artlessness, good nature and spirited boldness, so it is loyal to its owner.

Instead of Shiba Inu, I also love Golden Retriever. They are obedient to their owner, also friendly and smart. Its origin in Scotland, a large-sixed dog which tall about 55-61cm, with gold or cream colour on its fur. They are so active that their owner should give them a space to run.

Golden Retrievers are trainable that they are usually used to do important missions like guide dogs for blind people, rescuing survivors from natural disasters. They are useful to human and they can people using their intelligence and ability.

Though dogs are cute, keeping a dog is hard as you should take a good care of it, so we should think twice before we have our decision of keeping a dog as a pet.
