  After I completed my first painting, I keep on painting another canvas of the illustrious artwork 'The Bedroom', which was drawn by Vincent van Gogh. Using the same painting skills, the second painting is much more easier to complete than the first one.
 
  Although I have my basic skills of painting, I still struggled in copying the style of the origin tour de force. Yet, I tried my very best to conquer the only difficulty and have a good result that makes me satisfied.

  Paint is for everyone because all of us can paint. Don't be afraid of painting, the  benefits of painting are to help everyone to relieve stress and develop the culture of art in his or her inner mind. The achievements of finish painting that you have could be the applause or encouragement from others.

  I suddenly created this short poem for fun.
  Apart from poem, I have read a six-word novel written by Ernest Hemingway which inspired me most.

  For Sale:
  Baby shoes, never worn.

  Think of it and you will feel blue.

Shoes? Of course.

  In a technological world, people on streets are usually busying in scrolling up and down on the screen. Instead, I love looking down, watching a variety of shoes that people are wearing.
 
  I am addicted in collecting shoes. However, I seldom buy limited edition shoes. Instead, I have an array of sneakers. I am a big fan of Vans due to my hobby of skateboarding.

  Now I am looking for a pair of 'Air Max 95 neon origin '. As expect, the model '95' was the year of selling the shoes. It was the first edition of 'Air Max 95'. The reason why I wanted to have the shoes is I fell in love with the shoes in first sight when I was small as I noticed the shoes my aunt was wearing.

  Still, I won't follow the current trend. I love to be unique. In addition, I bought a pair of shoes which brand-name is Saucony. Since the company - Saucony was origin in the USA, Americans know the brand of Saucony, whereas the Hong Kongers know little about it. Yet, there is an increasing rate of people wearing this brand of shoes.

  People usually look at the others from head to toe, so what shoes you are wearing is important that it will affect your first image. A pair of dirty shoes will ruin your image. From now on, you should pay more attention to your shoes while wearing them.

Inspire and be inspired.

  Everybody have their stress in their daily lives. How do you relieve your pressure? I choose painting to alleviate my stress.

  I joined a painting course in the early summer. Every Saturday, I went to the studio completing my art. At the beginning, I found the suitable painting from some art auction books, and I chose the picture which is on the right hand corner.

  My teacher taught me how to paint with different techniques, and I started to paint the background.

   I completed parts of the art in every lesson, concentrating on each person or items. I tried my best to imitate the original artwork.

  After one month, I finally finished my first painting. Although it was not too similar to the original, but I am pleased that I can drew it all by myself as a novice painter.


Still a way to go.

  Drawing and painting can make people feel comfortable and relax. I enjoyed painting very much. In addition, it can nurtured our patience while we take plenty of time to finish an artwork. Also, you would be proud of yourself as people appreciated your work.

  We just put two latest videos on Youtube. We supposed to filmed the 'not my hand challenge', but we accidently shot two videos because some incident happened to us. A spider-liked insect appeared while we were shooting video. It scared both of us, though we tried very hard killing or driving it away. The extra video of killing the insect is very amusing.

Cells eat cells?

 Today I wanted to share you guys a online game called Agar.io. Player plays as a cell in an agar. The objective is to grow the cell by eating pellets on the agar or other players, avoiding the bigger cells from being eaten.

  The game includes three types of sort, cells (which are controlled by the players and can eat pellets, also other players), pellets (they can be eaten by the cells and spawn frequently), and viruses (the green, spiky graphic shown in the game, which can split a cell into a multitude of tiny cells).

  The smaller the cell, the faster the speed of the movement. The cell with smaller size can escape from the bigger one. Enormous cell move slowly, but it can spilt to half and immediately move faster two times, having more chance to consume the cell with the smaller size.

  There are no hard and fast rules on teaming with other players. Pressing 'W' button can give away some food for others, in other words, giving others benefits and team up together. This is a good strategy to enlarge the mass of the cell, becoming the premier of the game.

  You could never predict the movement of others. Therefore, you should be brave, clever and smart.
In my opinion, the game is fascinating, with the simple graphic. Yeah, so go and try playing the game yourself and you will feel the excitement of the game.

Wow paper to STONE bag

  I just receive a bag from my aunt, it seems nothing special, but after I observed a paragraph of description under the 'paper bag'... Wow, it is incredible that the bag is made from tree-free paper. I dropped my cheek in a second. How can it be?

  The bag is made of stone powder. Calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) is the main material of manufacturing the bag. To become more durable, CaCO₃ would combine with high density polyethylene (HDPE). It is an environmental-friendly bag as it can be decomposed under UV light, it also printed using non-toxic inks.

  It feels like a plastic coating is coated on the surface. It is so special that I even can't delineate its texture. Besides, the appearance of the stone bag is nothing different with a actual paper bag.
 
  It's interesting, right? I love observing things in my daily lives and finding out the principle of the item that fascinating me. How about you? Feel free to put your feelings or comments down below. :)

HK's old public housing estate

  One day, I visited the Yai Oi Estate in Tuen Mun, -it is- a public housing estate built in the 1970's. I walked straight into it and I found the unique building structure of the estate. It is a twin tower building structure. It is just like two squares joined together with two holes in it, leaving the buildings’ inside hollow.

  My friends and I ran to the highest floor, the 24th floor, and looked down into the hollow part of the building. I felt absolutely frightened when I first looked into the void. Peering into the deep, cavernous hole gave me a panic. As imagined, the hole is similar to a bottomless cavern.

  This type of housing estates will be destructed soon and will no longer be seen or inhabited due to new construction. I took these pictures in hopes of reminiscing upon my experience.

Skateboarding is fun

  Have you ever think about what are you going to do in your summer holiday? Why don’t you try something that you have never done before? Here’s an activity that you may like or crush into after you have try it.

   Skateboarding is an extreme sport which involves riding and performing tricks using a skateboard. The first skateboard was born in California. The idea of building a skateboard was came from surfing, people wanted to play surfing on a flat land and they started with wooden board with roller skate wheels. Nowadays, there have been designed a various skateboard using wooden or plastic, with different patterns and shapes.

   You may have seen some teenagers riding their colorful skateboards. They are called “Penny skateboard” and it set the trend for a whole wave of skateboarding. It is a long lasting board that is made with hard plastic and with fresh and abundant colors. The main idea to build this type of skateboard was used as transportation. The plastic wheels can go far while rubbing the land, and it is easy to control the direction that you wish. But there’s a one disadvantage of playing a “Penny skateboard”, doing tricks in a “Penny skateboard’” is harder than wooden skateboard.

   Just skateboarding on a flat land is so boring and monotonous. Now, I am going to introduce the most simple and basic trick, “oille”. “Oille” is a trick that make the board leap without hands. It is a fundamental trick that is used to leap over obstacles or stairs. Tricks such as “kickflip” and “heelflip” also depend on the trick “oille”.

   Having a new way to play skateboard using the facilities in a skate park like half-pipe and rail, training your confidence and balance by using these facilities.

   The Disadvantage of skateboarding is too dangerous and the payment of the skateboard is expensive. Also, parents may probably against you while you wish to play skateboard because they may have a traditional way of thinking that skateboarding is a bad activity which the gangsters or villains do. But skateboarding can build up our confidence and alleviate our pressure, also as a physical exercise. Maybe it will be your hobbies and meet some new friends afterwards.

*Skateboarding is a hazardous sport. Be careful while you are skateboarding or it may cause serious injury or accidents.

Hot Summer, Cool Desserts 🍴

   Wow! I did not post anything for a while :) And today I want to share you something about desserts. Introducing different local delicacies to you.

   Our tongue can taste different kinds of flavor such as bitter, sour, salty and the most important flavour - sweet.

   Sweet can make people feel happier as we produce endorphins while we are eating sweets or desserts. Not only children like desserts but also adults. We eat desserts in many different ways and places. Ice cream is the most popular dessert that satisfied everybody as there are lots of flavour like chocolate 🍫 , green tea, cookies & cream.

    There are different kinds of desserts around the world, we can also experience the culture of the countries by eating their desserts.

    Chinese traditional desserts such as red bean soup, black sesame paste, mango pudding and ginger milk curd etc. These desserts can be found in many traditional sweet houses and Chinese restaurant. The ingredients of Chinese desserts are easy to find and do, you can enjoy your homemade Chinese desserts easily.

 

     Instead of Chinese traditional desserts, Tiramisu also capture our appetite. Tiramisu (which means ‘pick me up’) is a Italian dessert with coffee flavour. The smoothness of the cream and the rich coffee taste is the selling point of Tiramisu.

 

 

 

  Thai is a tropical area and produce fruits abundantly. So, Thai desserts are famous in fresh fruits. The first delicacy must be the mango sticky rice pudding. It is a scrumptious dessert as the combination of mango and glutinous rice is perfect. Woon Ka Ti (coconut milk and pandan jelly), a sweet jelly in green and white colour, it is a Thai children’s favourite and sells at many Thai restaurants.

     Some creative desserts were invented by dessert makers these days. Since ice cream is a common dessert, liquid nitrogen ice cream was invented. The principle of liquid nitrogen ice cream is using liquid nitrogen as a refrigerator to form smaller ice crystals, speeding up the formation of ice cream, and have a smoother texture. 🍨

      Summer is coming very soon. A method to cool yourself is eating cold dessert. You can choose different chilling desserts instead of eating ice cream.🍦
