Wow! I did not post anything for a while :) And today I want to share you something about desserts. Introducing different local delicacies to you.
Our tongue can taste different kinds of flavor such as bitter, sour,
salty and the most important flavour - sweet.
Sweet can make people feel
happier as we produce endorphins while we are eating sweets or desserts. Not
only children like desserts but also adults. We eat desserts in many different
ways and places. Ice cream is the most popular dessert that satisfied everybody
as there are lots of flavour like chocolate 🍫 , green tea, cookies & cream.
There are different kinds of
desserts around the world, we can also experience the culture of the countries
by eating their desserts.
Chinese traditional desserts such as red bean
soup, black sesame paste, mango pudding and ginger milk curd etc. These
desserts can be found in many traditional sweet houses and Chinese restaurant.
The ingredients of Chinese desserts are easy to find and do, you can enjoy your
homemade Chinese desserts easily.
Instead of Chinese traditional desserts,
Tiramisu also capture our appetite. Tiramisu (which means ‘pick me up’) is a
Italian dessert with coffee flavour. The smoothness of the cream and the rich
coffee taste is the selling point of Tiramisu.
Thai is a tropical area and produce fruits
abundantly. So, Thai desserts are famous in fresh fruits. The first delicacy
must be the mango sticky rice pudding. It is a scrumptious dessert as the
combination of mango and glutinous rice is perfect. Woon Ka Ti (coconut milk
and pandan jelly), a sweet jelly in green and white colour, it is a Thai
children’s favourite and sells at many Thai restaurants.
Some creative desserts were
invented by dessert makers these days. Since ice cream is a common dessert,
liquid nitrogen ice cream was invented. The principle of liquid nitrogen ice
cream is using liquid nitrogen as a refrigerator to form smaller ice crystals, speeding
up the formation of ice cream, and have a smoother texture. 🍨
